Several men in saffron-orange robes stand with hands joined in prayer. Two bald men in front wear glasses and rudraksha malas; the foreground man on the right wears orange robes and glasses. Behind them, young men in orange and red dhotis hold long gold-coloured horns (ceremonial trumpets), and one man holds a large copper-coloured ceremonial parasol with a decorated fringe overhead. A woman in a pale sari stands in the background, and a red-draped table with garlands is at left.2013-11-22An outdoor procession on a paved courtyard under palm trees, with a covered open-sided pavilion at right. Shaved-headed men and boys in saffron-orange and red-orange dhotis and shawls, with rudraksha malas and gold necklaces, play long brass horns (tutari-style) and hand cymbals, and one man at centre carries a brass tray holding an orange cloth and offerings. A boy in front blows a horn and others carry a drum and small cymbals. Several young boys have white tilak markings on their foreheads. The scene reads as a temple-style ritual procession.2013-12-18Night procession on a dirt path with a central figure in a rust-brown silk dhoti and matching shawl, wearing a red and gold turban with a white plume, heavy gold necklaces and a red and pink flower garland. Behind him a shaved-headed attendant in brown and gold holds a silver umbrella, and several young boys in orange robes with white tilak and beaded necklaces blow long curved golden horns. Trees and dark night surround the scene.
