A photograph of an outdoor ashram path with red dirt and paved stepping stones. In the centre, a barefoot man in an orange-saffron dhoti and matching upper cloth walks forward with a large garland of white flowers, red roses and yellow blossoms draped around his neck, plus gold chains and a rudraksha-style mala. Behind him, several shaven-headed men in saffron robes with gold borders and sacred white markings on their foreheads carry offering trays of flowers and fruit. Visible people appear to be a procession of ashram devotees, one of them garlanded and walking ahead as a procession leader, consistent with a ritual procession or greeting. Consistent with a procession of ashram devotees and ritual offerings at an ashram grounds.2013-01-06January 06 20132013-01-06January 06 20132013-01-06December 31 20092009-12-31Outdoor procession on a dirt path shaded by trees, with a woven mat walkway laid down the center. In the foreground a man with long dark hair walks barefoot, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a large floral garland in red and white, and a beaded necklace with rudraksha-style strands; he appears to be the central figure, carried under a decorated umbrella-style parasol held by a man in orange robes. Behind him, several men in orange cloth carry a tray or plate and a bundle of offerings, and a line of others in orange and white follows along the path. A red building and green trees form the background.2013-03-10September 08 20152015-09-08A barefoot procession walks along a dirt path lined with palm and tropical foliage. A central figure with long swept-back dark hair, a crown-like headpiece, a rudraksha-style gold beaded necklace, a brown leopard-print shawl over saffron-orange robes, and a large red and white flower garland walks barefoot with palms pressed together in greeting. Swamiji (probable): this central figure shows the long hair, ornate gold necklaces, and saffron-orange ceremonial clothing that match the candidate's presentation. Around him, saffron-robed men with white forehead markings carry tall poles topped by ornate yellow and red canopy umbrellas, and a man in white dhoti holds a large brass kalasha pot. Devotees in white with folded hands line the route, and a man in white holds a camera. Colourful kolam patterns decorate the ground.2013-03-10A procession on a dirt path beneath a large banyan tree with aerial roots.
