A photograph of a street scene in an Indian town dominated by a golden statue of a standing man in a long gold kurta and dhoti-like lower garment, one hand on his hip and the other at his side. A large magenta-and-red flower garland hangs from his neck to his waist. The statue stands on a tall red and white plinth. Behind it are billboards, a utility pole, wires, trees and older multi-storey buildings with balconies.2012-05-09June 07 20042004-06-07June 07 20042004-06-07Outdoor street photo of a city roundabout with a green lawn, low shrubs and a black metal railing in the foreground. A stone bust of a man with short hair stands on a tall reddish pedestal, a bust portrait, not a living person. Behind it a large tree, a tall palm trunk, and a painted deity murti or statue stand near a red-and-white signboard. Multi-storey shop buildings line the street with signs for Epson, Asian Computers and Global Computer, and a white bus passes at right. No people are visible in the scene.2006-10-23June 12 20142014-06-12A close-up photo of a golden statue of a figure with a golden turban wrapped around the head, a red bindi on the forehead, hands pressed together in anjali mudra, and a smiling face.
