A photograph inside a plain kitchen-like room with grey walls and stainless steel vessels on a concrete counter. A man with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala wears a rust-red garment and stands at left, looking toward a shaved-headed man in a white dhoti with gold border and a bare upper body, who wears a beaded necklace. At right, a woman in an orange sari with a white head covering and a rudraksha mala ladles food from a steel pot into a bowl. A woman in a yellow-gold sari stands behind, and other people are partly visible at the edges. No figure is confidently identifiable as a person from appearance alone.

Overhead view of a large commercial-style kitchen with grey stone walls and steel counters. Several women in orange and saffron clothing, some with white head covers and aprons, prepare food. One woman in a rust-brown apron stands at a counter with steel pots and bowls of chopped vegetables, carrots, tomatoes, olives and cooked dishes. Another in orange chops at a table, and a woman in dark red-brown robes walks past a large steel tray. Men in blue and light clothing stand at the right edge. Steel pots, gas burners and large steel vessels fill the room.

A photograph of a large institutional kitchen with stainless steel counters, big cooking pots, gas cylinders and piles of green leafy vegetables. In the centre, a man stands barefoot in a saffron-orange robe with a long orange shawl draped over one shoulder and a garland of orange and white flowers around his neck, long dark hair falling past his shoulders. Behind him, another person in orange robes walks by. On the right, a woman in a white sari with a ribbon-style badge stands near a seated older man in a white shirt and grey trousers. Several staff in yellow and white clothing work at the back among the cooking equipment.

A photo of a steamy community kitchen with tiled walls and barred windows. In the foreground, large stainless steel pots and a covered steel tray sit on the counter, with a steaming vessel in the centre. A woman in a light orange-bordered white sari stands at left by a water heater. Another woman in a brown sari with a blue blouse bends over a cooking counter at centre. At right, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti, wearing a rudraksha mala, stirs or tends a pot. Shelves with containers and kitchen utensils line the walls.

A photograph of a large industrial-style kitchen with peeling pale walls, ceiling fans and steel cooking vessels on stainless steel prep tables and a blue gas cylinder in the foreground. A woman in an orange saree with a light orange garland walks across the floor, followed by a second figure in orange wrap clothing. Behind them a man in a yellow shirt and a woman in white stand near the wall, and a woman in a pink-and-white saree with a rosette badge stands by a window. At right, a seated man in a white shirt and light trousers with an ID lanyard sits on a plastic chair. Multiple people are visible in the room.

A photograph of a stainless-steel serving counter in a stone-walled dining area, with steel food trays and warming pans lined along the buffet. Several women in head coverings and saris, one in a purple blouse with a dark bag, stand serving food at the counter. Men in white dhotis and white shirts, with hairnets, stand at the right near stacked plates and a doorway. The scene reads as a communal kitchen or annadan meal service.
