A person in orange-saffron robes with a red-beaded bracelet and beaded necklace kneels at a low wooden table, both hands near a polished silver multi-flame aarti lamp with five lit wicks and ornate handle, set on a silver tray. Nearby stand small silver bowls with yellow powder, a silver kalasha-style pot with green leaves and a red-and-white flower, scattered rose petals, and a small oil lamp in a woven basket at left. Smoke and warm flame light fill the frame. The aarti lamp is performed as part of the ritual; no other people are visible.2015-04-30A close photograph of an aarti lamp held aloft by two hands at the lower edge of the frame. To the left, a blurred gold deity murti or ornament sits beside a garland of red and white flowers. Behind, a blurred red and dark screen with coloured panels. No faces are visible, and the scene suggests an aarti offering during a satsang.2018-04-23Close-up photograph of a ritual oil lamp (deepa) held by two hands.
