Several weathered, damaged copper-toned sculptural pieces lie scattered on grey stone floor slabs, apparently fragments of a larger deity or temple figure. Visible parts include a curved ornamental section with carved scrollwork, a tubular arm-like piece, and a cone-shaped crown or finial element, with traces of gold gilding on the carved surfaces. No people are visible. The pieces are covered in rust-colored patina and show chipped edges, with a faint reddish stain on the floor at left.2013-07-14July 14 20132013-07-14Photograph of several large, weathered brown-copper or bronze sculptural fragments laid out on a grey stone-tiled floor, apparently pieces of a temple idol or ornamental figure. The pieces appear to be parts of a deity murti or ritual sculpture: a curved arm or limb, ornate carved panels, a lotus-shaped base piece, a torso fragment with engraved patterns, and a tall tubular section. Patina and dark discolouration are visible across the pieces. Edges of maroon or saffron-coloured cloth are visible at the top corners, and a metal bucket sits at the left. No people are visible in the frame.2013-09-04Close view of a large, weathered copper-coloured repoussé object lying on grey paving stones. It is an ornately embossed hollow form, possibly part of a vehicle or ritual piece, with scrolled foliate patterns, bead-and-dot borders and a rosette medallion on the right. A second embossed section lies behind it. No people are visible; the image is a photo of the metal object.2011-10-22Photograph of several ornate copper-coloured metal objects resting on a grey metal table in a tiled room with terracotta hexagonal floor tiles. The pieces appear to be engraved, embossed ceremonial fittings with scalloped rims and foot-shaped or sandal-like forms, including a large pair in the foreground and a smaller curved piece at right. No people are visible.2011-12-28A photograph of a pile of broken, weathered statue fragments lying on a dirt floor against a pale concrete wall.
