Most wear white or cream clothing, with some in saffron, orange, red and green saris and salwar kameez. A chain-link fence and a pale water surface are behind them. No one is clearly identifiable as a person in this crowd, and the focus is on the seated devotees in prayer.

Many women sit with palms pressed together in prayer, dressed in white salwar kameez, white shawls and white kurtas, with a woman in turquoise and cream salwar in the front left and one in a blue sari at right. Behind them a dark stone deity murti stands on a raised plinth draped in orange cloth and rudraksha mala, against an orange wall. A large group of devotees sits and stands on red-tiled steps at an outdoor ceremony, many with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. Most wear white dhoti and white or cream clothing, while a few women wear orange or saffron saris and a man in the upper right wears all white. A man in a white dhoti stands center-left with hands folded, and a woman in white with a yellow shawl stands near the bottom center. Brass vessels and a metal pot sit on the steps, and a bright green umbrella appears at the lower left. Metal railings run along the upper right. The scene suggests satsang-style group prayer and seated darshan.
