Devotees sit on red and gold carpets in an ornate hall with gold curtains and a white carved arch framing a screen. On the screen, a figure in orange and red robes with a red garland sits on a lotus-like seat under a sunburst. In the foreground, a bare-chested man in white dhoti sits facing the screen, and a woman in a white sari sits beside a brass lamp stand and brass ritual vessels. Other attendees sit in casual and traditional clothing, a woman in a yellow saree and another in a green striped saree are visible, and an exit sign hangs on the left wall. A brass oil lamp and kalasha-like vessels sit on a low table in front of the group, as they watch the screen during a satsang-style gathering.

Devotees stand and sit in rows facing a dark altar alcove framed by gold drapes in a hall with an EXIT sign. A figure at the altar holds a trident and a small flame, while the crowd watches in traditional clothing: white dhotis with gold borders, a saffron shawl, a blue sari, a bare-backed woman in a white sari and a man in a plaid shirt. Red carpets cover the floor, and deity murtis are visible at the right edge. Colourful patterned fabric and cushions appear near the front.

Indoor temple gathering at Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple in Los Angeles. A shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged on an orange mat at right, holding a microphone and speaking, with a brass plate, lamp and flower offerings before him. Beside him is a decorated palanquin-style seat draped in green and pink cloth and strung with marigold and white flower garlands. About a dozen seated devotees sit on grey carpet, women in saris and salwar kameez, a man in white kurta at centre, and a man in a white robe near the centre. Behind them stand women in saris. A painted deity panel hangs on the wall and a painted peacock sculpture stands nearby, with a portrait of a seated figure on the upper wall.

A wide photograph of a temple hall with gold drapery on the walls and a marble floor lined with red-and-gold patterned rugs. Red velvet rope barriers run across the foreground. Many devotees sit cross-legged in prayer, hands pressed together, including a woman in a purple sari and an older woman in orange with a blue scarf in front. Several people stand near the back in white and orange robes, one in an orange garment with arms raised. A seated man in a white kurta sits at left, and a man in an orange shirt sits near the left edge. Balloons appear at the upper right near a decorated altar. The scene suggests a devotional gathering with many participants.

A wide photograph of a satsang hall filled with seated devotees facing a stage. Dozens of people in white, saffron and orange garments sit on the floor in the foreground, with many more further back. On a raised golden-and-red stage stands a golden throne with a golden kalasha and floral arrangements. A seated figure in orange garments and a white garland sits on the throne in front of a golden deity murti backdrop. A cameraman films from the stage edge. Two large screens on either side show a portrait labelled with a name, and framed information boards flank the hall. Red velvet drapes frame the stage.

A seated audience of many devotees, mostly women in orange, saffron and white saris and salwar kameez, faces a raised golden stage in a hall with deep red drapes. On the golden throne-like dais sits a figure in orange and a garland, with a large deity murti behind it and gold-topped pillars on either side.
