A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair in a bun and a gold-ornamented seat touches the forehead of a standing man in white clothing with a red-orange shawl and a red thread bracelet, who raises one hand in a palm-forward gesture. Behind them are a framed portrait and gold floral decorations. A woman in white with a rudraksha mala and orange shawl sits in the foreground, and an elderly woman in white sits to the left. A devotee in pink and orange stands at the right edge. The setting is a satsang-style hall.2014-03-12September 14 20142014-09-14A man in a bare-chested saffron-and-gold garment, with a dark bun and rudraksha beads, raises a peacock-feather fan toward the forehead of a man in a white shirt with a red shawl and a wristwatch, who holds up a hand in a blessing-receiving gesture. Behind them a seated woman in white with a red shawl, rudraksha mala and a white tilak watches, and gold-painted ornaments and a red-and-gold throne are visible. The setting appears to be an indoor satsang with ritual blessing.2014-03-17Indoor photo of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair tied back, placing one hand on the forehead of a standing man in a white kurta and orange shawl. Both are smiling. A gold-coloured ornate seat with a lion-like carved finial sits at right. Behind them, other men in white and orange garments sit or stand, and a person on the far left wears a white outfit with an orange shawl. Warm ceiling lights and cream walls frame the scene.2014-03-08May 12 20142014-05-12March 07 20142014-03-07March 08 20142014-03-08A photograph of a ritual initiation in an indoor hall. A figure with long dark dreadlocks, wearing a maroon sleeveless garment and a thick gold-and-brown beaded necklace, presses a hand to the forehead of a man in a white t-shirt with a red-and-orange printed shawl, who holds his hands up to the figure's arm. Behind them, several people in white clothes and red shawls stand watching, and a golden vessel is visible in the foreground. A fan and curtain frame the room.2016-03-30May 11 20142014-05-11A man with long dark hair pulled back, wearing an orange-and-gold wrap and a dense rudraksha mala with ornate gold accents, reaches forward to touch the forehead of a short-haired woman in a white shirt with a lanyard and a rudraksha bracelet, whose hands are raised in a blessing gesture. A smaller figure in white dhoti and shawl with rudraksha malas sits behind, and other men in white clothes stand in the background near a red curtain, a fan and a garlanded red-and-orange floral display with a deity murti. Gilded decor is visible at the lower left. The scene reads as a blessing or diksha-style touch in an ashram setting.2013-10-04A photograph of a long-haired man with a white tilak on his forehead, bare-chested and draped in an orange-red shawl with a multi-strand rudraksha mala, placing his right palm on the forehead of an older white-haired man in white clothes and a red-orange shawl. Behind them a framed portrait shows a figure in orange robes and turban beside a gilded frame, and a seated woman in white and red shawl watches. Several other seated people in white and red shawls sit in the background, with a gold-coloured vessel at lower left. Probable Swamiji (probable): the long swept-back hair, bare upper body, rudraksha mala and orange-red drape of the man giving the blessing match the qualifying cues, and the scene suggests a blessing or initiation gesture.2014-03-09September 30 20132013-09-30
