A crowded indoor hall photographed from close range, with many people pressed together and turned in various directions. In the centre, a woman in an orange saree with a dark beaded necklace leans forward, a red striped cloth draped over her arm. Around her stand women in pink and orange saris, a man in a light blue checked shirt, and other attendees, some wearing glasses. The background is blurred and pale. No deity, throne or ritual setting is clearly visible, and no one is identifiable as a person.

A photograph of a long queue of men inside a tent with orange and yellow fabric walls and a green mat floor. In the foreground a man in an orange hooded robe and red dhoti stands in line, holding a small yellow object. Others wear jackets, collared shirts, kurtas and sweaters, some barefoot. At the far right a framed portrait hangs on the tent wall beside the queue. No candidate for a person is clearly identifiable by appearance, so the person is described by role only.

A photograph of a seated congregation inside an open tent with orange and purple fabric walls on a green mat floor. Many women in headscarves and saris sit close together, including a woman in an orange shawl and a woman in teal with pink trim, while a young girl in a grey shawl sits in front. Men in white kurtas and grey or brown jackets sit at the right. Behind them, standing figures include a man in a saffron robe with a long white beard and a man in white robes beside a blonde woman in a maroon wrap near the tent opening. A small wooden table stands at the left edge of the tent.

Photograph taken under a colourful striped canopy at night in a dusty outdoor camp. A man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a pale orange head wrap stands behind a metal table, his hand on his chest, addressing a small group. Beside him stand a bare-chested man with white sacred thread and another saffron-robed man. Visitors in salwar kameez, saris and a woman with an orange-and-green sari with a bag stand listening, while people in white and teal head coverings sit in the background.

A photograph taken inside an orange tent with a purple cloth drape at the back, opening onto a bright outdoor view. Several people stand in a row on a green mat with hands folded in prayer or greeting. On the left, a man in a grey-green jacket and a shawl presses his palms together, and a girl in a striped sweater and a young woman in a pink scarf stand nearby. In the centre, a man in a grey shirt and dark trousers stands facing right, and a woman in a dark shawl stands beside him. On the right, a bare-chested man wearing a white dhoti and a rudraksha-style necklace stands among others in white clothes, and a person in white with a grey head covering bows with hands together. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable from appearance, so no identity is asserted. About 15 people are visible.

A long queue of devotees stands on a green tarpaulin floor inside an orange-draped tent. In the foreground a man in a checked shirt and khaki trousers stands beside a man in a pink shirt with a tan shawl, both looking ahead. A woman in a bright yellow sari with a gold border stands in the line, and another woman in an orange sari stands further back. A young man in a grey shirt carries a backpack at the right edge. Tall striped decorative poles stand near the entrance, and framed printed notices hang on the orange walls. No identifiable a person figure is visible in the people shown.

A dense crowd of devotees fills a red-carpeted temple hall, many people pressing toward a shrine at the right. Women wear saris and salwar kameez in red, yellow, purple and green, some with headscarves, while men wear shirts and trousers. Ornate gold and stone temple architecture frames a deity murti decorated with colourful garlands and tassels, with brass oil lamps set before it. Metal barriers guide the flow of people, and a banner with red and gold lettering hangs on the left. The scene shows a busy darshan line rather than a seated programme.

A crowd of devotees stands and sits inside an orange-draped tent with yellow and maroon hanging cloths and decorative tassels on the poles. In the foreground a woman in a yellow sari with a pale blue shawl touches her forehead with her hand, while an older woman in a patterned sari sits at the left edge. Beside them a woman in a red-and-white outfit wears a rudraksha mala and a bangle set, and men in white dhotis and saffron shawls stand among the crowd. A small monitor displays the feed, and a white banner-style cloth hangs at the lower right.

A crowd of devotees, mostly women in colourful saris and salwar kameez with headscarves, and several men in dark jackets, queue in an orange-walled tent. Along the right, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti wears a rudraksha mala and a gold bracelet while standing beside a gold-carved throne with red cushions. Behind the throne hang gold dragon-shaped rods, tassels in red and blue, and a tall striped banner with bird emblems. A small framed portrait sits on a shelf, and a written notice hangs on the left wall. The person in white has shaved head and appearance that is not clearly that of the candidate, so identity is uncertain.
