August 07 20102010-08-07August 07 20102010-08-07A photograph of a man seated in a chair wearing an orange turban and orange robe, with a red tilak mark on his forehead and long dark hair falling behind his shoulders. He wears a long green garland of leaves interspersed with red roses. In the left foreground a person in a white shirt leans in toward him. Behind is a painted forest backdrop.2010-08-07A seated figure in an orange saffron turban and orange robes sits on an ornate cream upholstered throne with carved black wooden arms, wearing a long green leafy garland with red flowers. He rests one hand on the head of a kneeling man in a white shirt and dark trousers whose palms are pressed together in namaskar. A second man in orange clothing stands at the left edge, and a white-clad figure is partly visible on the far left. Behind is a painted backdrop of large green banyan-like trees. A metal tray of fruit sits at the right. The figure matches the Swamiji cues of orange turban and saffron robes, with the page citing him at this event, so this is a probable in-person depiction of Swamiji giving blessings.2010-08-07August 07 20102010-08-07March 30 20122012-03-30A seated man in an orange turban and orange robes sits on an ornate dark-wood throne with a cream cushion, in front of a painted backdrop of large banyan-like tree trunks and green foliage. He wears a long green leaf garland with red flowers and has a red tilak on his forehead, looking down at papers he holds. Beside him stands a man in a white checked kurta with glasses, holding a green pen and a sheet of paper while adjusting the garland.2010-08-07A seated man in an orange turban and orange robes sits with hands pressed together in namaste, eyes closed, on a cream velvet throne with dark carved wooden armrests and backrest. A long green leafy garland with red flowers drapes from his shoulders down over his lap and onto the floor, with red petals scattered at his feet. Behind him is a painted backdrop of large banyan trees. A red bindi marks his forehead. Cream bolster cushions with orange trim flank the throne. The appearance matches the Swamiji (probable) cues: orange turban and robes, ceremonial garland, and throne seating, with the page flagging him as present.2010-08-07August 07 20102010-08-07June 02 20032003-06-02A man sits in profile against a green foliage backdrop, wearing a bright orange turban and orange robes, with a red tilak mark on his forehead. He wears a large green leafy garland studded with red roses draped over his shoulders and chest. Long dark hair falls behind his neck. A carved black chair back is visible at right.2010-08-07A seated figure in an orange saffron robe and orange turban, with long swept-back dark hair and a rudraksha mala, sits on a cream upholstered throne-like chair with a maroon cushion and gold-toned decorative elements, smiling as he receives an offering. A man in a white short-sleeved shirt kneels before him, bending forward with hands cupped to receive a fruit or small object from the seated figure. On a side table behind them sits a plate with sweets and purple flowers. A woman in a white sari with a gold border and a red pendant stands in the background beside a potted palm and blue curtains. Strings of beads hang in the background. Appearance cues are consistent with a person depicted in person, receiving devotion as a seated honoured teacher.2010-07-17
