A photograph inside a temple of a man with long dark hair in an orange saffron robe and a gold necklace, performing an aarti with a lit oil lamp in one hand and a bell in the other, while a younger attendant in orange stands beside him. Several large white deity murtis with gold crowns and red and gold garments line the wall, including an image with a raised hand and a female figure in red and gold. A video camera is visible at the right edge, and white ash markings are visible on the man's arms. Swamiji (probable): the man has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a ceremonial gold necklace, and is performing the aarti at the deity murtis.2007-11-09October 22 20082008-10-22Golden murti of Shiva and Parvati, adorned with flower garlands in red, yellow and purple, stand behind a black Shivalingam on a dark pedestal. A figure with long dreadlocks, a saffron-orange wrap and bead ornaments on the arms faces the murtis with raised hands, as if offering worship. Another golden figure with a folded-hands posture and leopard-print garment stands at right. An arched floral backdrop frames the scene, indicating a temple abhishekam or puja setting.2017-02-24A temple scene with large white deity statues in gold crowns and red and gold silk garments, standing against a grey block wall. In the foreground, a man with long dark curly hair and an orange robe, his arm and shoulder marked with white paste, is turned away from the camera toward the statues. Beside him, a younger person in an orange robe with a red forehead mark holds a tray of offerings. A smaller statue in a yellow and green sari stands between them, with a brass lamp and a plate of offerings in front. The setting suggests puja or aarti before deity murti.2007-11-09October 08 20162016-10-08July 07 20092009-07-07A seated priest in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with rudraksha mala and bangles, arranges white and pink flower garlands before a shrine. Behind him, three deity murtis stand adorned with garlands, jewelled necklaces and crowns, with a golden yellow cloth draped beneath. Flower petals are heaped in the foreground, and a silver bowl of petals sits to the left beside a second robed attendant with a shaved head and rudraksha mala. A visible shrine setting with a gilded backdrop suggests Rudrabhishekam worship at a temple sanctum.2014-06-30February 13 20182018-02-13November 13 20072007-11-13June 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copiesA photograph inside a temple hall showing a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes applying white paste to the shoulder of a large white deity murti dressed in red and gold garments and a gold crown with peacock feathers. Beside it stands a second murti with a similar crown and red garment. On the left, a young attendant in orange robes holds a polished silver vessel and a small brass cup. Additional ornately dressed deity figures stand along the left wall, and a black speaker is visible at right. Probable Swamiji (long swept-back dark hair, saffron-orange robe) performs abhishekam-style anointing on the deities.2007-11-09March 22 20082008-03-22
