November 02 20132013-11-02Night photograph of a person seen from behind in a rust-red and orange-gold dhoti and matching upper cloth, with an orange head covering and bangles on the wrists. They hold a long string of fireworks in one hand and light a row of upright firecrackers on a cardboard box on dark dirt ground strewn with debris, with sparks and smoke rising from the fuses. The scene reads as a Deepavali firecracker celebration. No readable names are visible, and the person's identity is not established by appearance.2013-11-02A photograph taken at night on a concrete ground littered with spent firework debris. In the foreground a man in orange clothing, with an orange head wrap and bare upper body, crouches low while lighting a small firework on the ground; sparks are spraying from it. Behind him in the dark, a faint figure in dark clothing stands at a distance. The scene is a Deepavali celebration with firecrackers. The crouching man wears orange garments and white-strapped sandals; his appearance does not clearly establish a distinctive a person identity, so the candidate is unsure.2002-11-04October 30 20162016-10-30November 02 20132013-11-02October 30 20162016-10-30A night photograph of a figure in an orange-saffron garment with dark curly hair and a dark rudraksha-style mala around the neck, crouching low on sand and lighting a firecracker strand with a small flame. Beside them, a person in white dhoti-style clothing crouches at the left edge, and a string of red crackers lies on the ground. Other figures and a distant light appear in the dark background. The scene reflects the Deepavali cracker-bursting described on the page.2006-10-21Night photo of a Diwali celebration with fireworks at AadiKailaasa. Fountain-like fireworks spray bright yellow and red sparks and smoke in the centre of an open dirt ground. At right, a man in a long-sleeved saffron/orange robe and matching dhoti holds a lit sparkler and walks past the blast. A black stone Nandi bull, garlanded with yellow and purple flowers, sits on a white pedestal at the left edge. Other figures in orange and white clothing stand in the background near low buildings, and scattered firework debris covers the ground.2008-10-27October 27 20082008-10-27October 30 20162016-10-30 +1 copiesNovember 02 20132013-11-02Night photo on a bare dirt ground showing a lone figure in orange-saffron robes standing at left, hands pressed together in front of the chest, facing a tall white-gold firework fountain erupting upward from the ground with sparks and smoke.
