Night-time photo of a large group of young monastic-style devotees in orange and maroon robes standing on a dark paved ground, many holding thin colored sticks or rods in their hands. Several boys in orange are in the foreground, one with a shaved head, and a few older girls wear rudraksha beaded necklaces. Some women in white and red saris stand at the right edge. The group appears to be gathered for a practice or ritual activity, with trees in the dark background.2013-10-10September 09 20152015-09-09December 02 20172017-12-02August 05 20142014-08-05September 26 20142014-09-26A large group of young boys and some adults in saffron-orange robes stands outdoors in front of lush green foliage, many with shaved heads and white tilak markings on their foreheads. Several boys press their palms together in anjali mudra while others hold their hands in prayer. A tall adult woman at right in orange robes and a rudraksha mala holds a golden staff topped with a trident, and a gold ornamented staff with a finial is visible at top right. One man in white dhoti and shirt stands at left. A boy in white dhoti stands in the middle of the group. The setting suggests a devotional gathering or procession with ashram students.2014-10-05September 11 20142014-09-11Night photograph of a temple-ground procession with a large crowd.
