The man in the checked shirt leans in to look at the newspaper while the garlanded figure smiles and holds the paper. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and shirts stand under a canopy with orange drapes and a patterned pillar. Around him, devotees with folded hands and outstretched palms gather; an elderly man in white on the left and a young girl in green in the foreground watch closely. A red curtain and a deity image with a crescent ornament appear in the background, in a hall setting. The figure matches several cues of the a person candidate, so this is a probable identification from appearance, not a confirmed one.2012-09-15June 20 20122012-06-20 +1 copiesApril 10 20132013-04-10A candid photograph of a smiling person in an orange-brown robe draped over the body, wearing a white jasmine garland and a heavy gold-coloured bead necklace, with bangles on the wrists and a red-and-white forehead mark. They hold a folded white paper with a pen clipped to it and turn to laugh with a man in a blue-and-white striped shirt standing in the foreground. Another man in a white shirt watches at left.
