A large seated gathering of men in plain white dhotis and shawls with thin maroon and gold borders, sitting cross-legged on orange mats in a hall. Several have white and ash markings on their foreheads and arms, and some wear rudraksha malas. Foreground figures sit with hands resting on their knees; one bare-chested man wears a white-and-gold cloth, and one man at right takes notes in a small notebook. Brass plates and offering dishes sit on the mats in front, and the rows behind extend back to a crowd of seated devotees. The scene suggests a group ritual sitting or satsang. No figure in the foreground is distinctly identifiable as a presiding teacher; all appear as participants in white ritual dress.

A seated group of shaved-headed men in white dhotis and shawls with maroon borders sit on orange mats in a hall, many with white and red tilak marks on their foreheads and rudraksha malas around their necks. In the foreground, brass oil lamps, small bowls, cups and a kalasha-style vessel with flowers sit on green and striped cloths before the group. Behind them, a larger audience in white and some in colourful clothing sits in rows on the polished floor. The priests appear to be performing a ritual while others watch. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person from the visible cues.

A seated assembly of devotees in a hall during a satsang or discourse. In the foreground, a man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala with a gold pendant sits with palms pressed together in prayer, beside a shaved-headed man in white with gold-bordered dhoti and vibhuti on his forehead. Rows of white-clad devotees sit on striped mats behind them, with a few in orange, and more people seated at the back of the hall. Metal stanchions divide the seating area and a red-orange cloth hangs on the left. Many attendees wear white kurtas or dhotis and some carry rudraksha malas. No one is clearly identifiable as a person from the visible cues alone.

A seated group of many devotees fills a hall, with white-clad men and some in saffron. In the foreground a man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged, his head shaved and forehead marked with white tilak. Beside him a man in white dhoti with red-bordered shawl sits with hands folded, white marks on his arms. Brass puja vessels, small bowls and a red cloth lie on the floor before them. Behind, rows of participants wear white dhotis, red and orange shawls, and yellow garments, many with white forehead markings. The scene resembles a pada puja gathering.

A large seated congregation fills a pink-walled hall at a Guru Purnima gathering.
