A long hall with a tiled floor shows two rows of women seated on the floor in white saris, many with coloured borders, each before a banana leaf holding flowers, bananas, a brass lamp and burning incense sticks. A woman in a cream and gold-bordered sari walks down the central aisle, bending over the rows. A small shrine with a blue and gold facade stands at the far end, with cloth draped on the walls and hanging decorations overhead. The scene suggests a pooja offering in progress; no a person figure is visibly identifiable in this image.2014-06-29 +1 copiesJune 29 20142014-06-29 +1 copiesJune 29 20142014-06-29A photograph of a large indoor puja gathering in a plain whitewashed hall. Most wear white dhotis or sarees with orange or red shawls and some hold small oil lamps or lit wicks in their hands, with brass plates of offerings in front of them. Pink walls, hanging colourful tassels and a screen on a tripod at the right suggest a live satsang. At the far right, a figure in orange robes sits near the front, and the scene reads as a group lamp ritual during a satsang.2010-12-31June 19 20142014-06-19 +1 copiesA photograph inside a bright, tiled hall during a 108 Vilakku Puja.
