Behind them stands a deity murti with a crown, draped in orange and purple cloth. In front, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti wears a yellow flower garland, and a woman in a green sari with a yellow garland stands beside him. Seated centrally on a golden throne is a man in orange robes with a white flower garland, with a sannyasi in orange robes and a rudraksha mala seated at left holding a plate of yellow flowers. Behind him stand large deity murti of a goddess and god adorned with yellow and red flower garlands and gold crowns, with a tall gold peetha-style backdrop and temple pillar artwork. Flanking gold thrones hold smaller garlanded murti. Several devotees sit or kneel in front: a woman in cream sari with dark hair in a braid praying with hands together at left, a man in white dhoti with maroon border at center, a woman in white with long hair, and women in yellow and white saris at right. Painted temple scenery surrounds the setting.2010-11-14Photo of a temple shrine ritual. Centre, a man in a maroon robe, maroon turban with a green feather-like ornament, and gold necklaces sits on a low seat before a golden peetha-style backdrop, holding white threads or cords as he performs a ritual. Around him, bare-chested men in white dhotis and an orange-robed man with long dreadlocked hair stand close, and women in orange and white saris stand to the right, some touching the cords. Behind them, a gilded arch frames a deity murti group: a figure with trident and crescent holding a kalasha-shaped element, a consort in red and gold, and two side figures with garlands. Gilded panels, red curtains and flower garlands fill the shrine.2017-09-05March 07 20162016-03-07A photo of a standing couple posed before a decorated shrine with a deity murti, flanked by marigold garlands and brass lamps. A man in a white shirt and dhoti and a woman in a red and white patterned sari, both wearing yellow garlands, stand on either side of a seated figure in orange robes and a rudraksha mala on a gold-trimmed peetha throne, who raises one hand in blessing. Another man in orange robes kneels at left holding a plate of yellow flowers, and a robed attendant sits at right beside a brass bowl. Dark stone carvings and floral arches frame the scene. The seated figure's appearance shows some cues such as long hair, orange robes and rudraksha, but the identity is uncertain.2009-12-26December 26 20092009-12-26
