A standing man in an orange and green dhoti and shawl, with a shaved head and tilak, is shaking hands with a person in an orange robe and white flower garland who stands beside the throne. Two other men stand to the left: one in an orange robe and one in white ritual dress with a shawl. A white pedestal fan sits at the left edge of the stage. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange cloth draped over his body and a dark rudraksha mala around his neck, speaking into a microphone on a stand. The image is a photograph from a satsang talk setting.2010-10-11 +1 copiesPhotograph of a long-haired man seated on an ornate throne covered in white, yellow, orange and red garlands and flower strands. He wears an orange-saffron robe draped over his shoulders and lap, a white and multicoloured flower garland, and a red tilak on his forehead, smiling as he sits with bare feet on a silver lotus-shaped stool. Attendants in white and a partially visible person in white and yellow stand beside the throne, one reaching toward the robe. The throne has a red velvet backrest and gold lion-shaped armrests. Swamiji (probable): the long swept-back hair, saffron robe, garlands and ornate throne match the page's described Gurupoornima celebration at a seated, honoured figure.2007-07-29A photograph of a padapuja ceremony in an ashram hall. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a rudraksha mala, a heavy gold-and-red garland and an orange dhoti, sits on a large golden throne heavily decorated with yellow marigold and purple flower garlands; his bare feet rest in a brass tray of red petals. Devotees in orange, white and green clothing kneel around him holding brass offering plates with flowers. Beside him, a woman in an orange robe and orange head-wrap sits with palms joined. A white floor-standing fan and a tiled wall form the background, and a small purple logo appears at upper left. Description reflects appearance-based cues: a person seated on the throne, receiving padapuja.2013-01-06A smiling man in saffron-orange sleeveless robes and a draped orange shawl sits cross-legged on a white fur-textured cushion before an ornate gold throne with carved lion heads and a red velvet backrest. The throne is framed by a garland of yellow marigolds and red flowers, and an orange cloth hangs behind. He wears a long rudraksha mala, has a red tilak on his forehead, and gestures with his right hand as he speaks. The scene shows a seated teacher giving a discourse. One person is physically present.2011-12-01July 31 20152015-07-31A smiling man with long dark hair sits on an ornate silver palanquin-style seat decorated with yellow, white and magenta flower garlands. He wears a saffron-orange garment over his shoulders, a beige turban with a gold band and red tilak, and a multi-strand garland of white, purple, yellow and red flowers. Gold bead necklaces hang on his chest. He gestures with one open hand while looking upward. A red and gold embroidered cloth covers the seat in front, with marigold and white flower garlands around it. Probable Swamiji: the saffron clothing, long hair, turban and ceremonial gold necklaces fit the cues for the page's subject, shown in a procession-style setting.2009-12-25
