March 14 20142014-03-14March 14 20142014-03-14Two saffron-robed men walk together outdoors past a whitewashed building with a barred window and potted flowering plants with red blooms. On the left, a man with long dark hair swept back wears a rust-red robe with gold-yellow borders, a long rudraksha mala and a ceremonial gold bead necklace, and a red thread on his wrist. Beside him, a shaved-headed older man in a bright orange shawl and robe, with a vermilion tilak on his forehead, gestures with one hand as he talks. Several other monks and men in the background, including a man in a brown shirt, stand near the wall. The left man has distinctive long hair, ornate beads and rudraksha, so a probable Swamiji identification applies to him as the person with long hair and rudraksha malas; the older saffron-clad man is a sannyasi in a visible tilak and shawl.2014-03-14March 14 20142014-03-14Outdoor photo on a paved path beside a cream-coloured building with arched windows and green foliage. A bald, bearded elder in saffron-orange robes and a draped orange shawl, with a rudraksha mala, gestures with an open hand toward a younger man. That younger man, with long dark hair swept back, wears a rust-red and gold-bordered dhoti and shawl, a garland of white flowers and a rudraksha mala, and smiles with hands folded in front. Beside him stand a bald monk in red-and-gold robes with hands joined in greeting and a monk in saffron robes. Behind them, several men in saffron and white clothing and a few onlookers stand along the walkway.2014-03-14Outdoor photograph of three sannyasis in saffron-orange robes standing beside a tree trunk under a line of orange flags and green foliage. On the right, a figure with long, swept-back dark hair and a dark rudraksha mala wears a sleeveless orange robe and speaks with the others, his hands clasped. The man in the centre has a grey beard and clasps his hands; the man on the left is bald with a light forehead mark. A white vehicle is partly visible behind them. Swamiji (probable) is the figure on the right, identified by long swept-back hair and a rudraksha mala in an orange robe; the others are sannyasis.2007-08-09November 05 20132013-11-05Outdoors beneath large banyan trees with dense aerial roots, three men stand on a dark stone slab beside a low stone-edged pool. The central elderly man has a long white beard and wears a saffron-orange robe, holding a wooden walking staff, and is smiling broadly. A younger man on the left wears a brown dhoti-style garment with gold borders and a rudraksha-type mala, facing him. A bald man on the right, in matching brown and gold-bordered attire with a mala, stands with hands clasped. Red flower petals lie on the ground.2013-11-05Outdoor photograph on a garden path lined with green shrubs and trees, with a pale building behind. A bald, bearded man in a loose orange-saffron shawl and garment walks forward in the foreground. Behind him a woman in a dark maroon-red sari wears a long beaded necklace of orange-yellow beads. Further back, several men in maroon-red robes, some wearing rudraksha malas, walk and a man in white stands at the right edge. Five to six physical people are visible.2014-03-14October 03 20152015-10-03Outdoor photo on a dirt ground beside a pillared veranda. Three saffron-robed sannyasis stand in conversation. On the right, a long-haired man in a saffron cloth with a rudraksha mala smiles broadly and holds his hands together. In the centre, a bearded sannyasi in an orange robe clasps his hands. On the left, a white-haired, bearded man in a white shirt and cream trousers, wearing beaded bracelets, faces them. Behind them, men in white shirts and trousers stand near a seated group in the background, and red and orange pennants hang on a line above the trees. A row of sandals lies on the ground at left.2007-08-09Outdoor photo on a sandy compound in front of a pink-walled building with a banana plant and columns. A long-haired man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala on the left gestures while speaking to a bald, shaven-headed man in orange robes with a shawl draped over his shoulder, center. Two more orange-robed men stand at right, one in an orange turban. A cameraman films at far left, and several men in white and light shirts stand behind.2007-08-09
