The seated man has a red tilak and closed eyes, and sits on a leopard-print cushion before ornate gold and silver carvings. Swamiji (probable): the seated man shows long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and a gold pendant on saffron clothing, consistent with the page's identification of Swamiji at this initiation. A wooden stick is held nearby and a silver ornament sits on the seat. The image is a photo of a kneeling devotee receiving a sacred mark during an initiation.2017-10-06October 06 20172017-10-06January 22 20142014-01-22 +2 copiesA photograph of an initiation at Adi Kailasa showing a seated man with long swept-back dark hair, a rudraksha mala and a rust-orange wrap, touching a red tilak on the forehead of a bare-chested man with dreadlocks and an orange cloth draped over his shoulder.
