A seated man in a rust-orange robe with a rudraksha mala and a white tilak on his forehead rests his hand on the shoulder of a man in a white shirt standing before him. The seated figure has his hair pulled back in a bun and is smiling warmly. Behind them stands a yellow-gold draped backdrop with green potted plants, and in the background a woman in a yellow-and-green sari and another person in white are visible. A gold-trimmed seat and an orange cloth lie in the foreground.2015-02-15A photograph of a satsang hall with a deep maroon curtain and an ornate gold throne-like seat. A smiling person in orange robes sits on the throne, wearing a thick red and yellow flower garland and a dark hair bun; the figure matches the appearance of a person with a long swept-back hairstyle and ceremonial garland, seated in a position of honour. An older man in a white shirt bends forward toward the seated figure, reaching out, while an older woman with a long grey braid in a white sari stands beside him. A bald man in orange clothes sits at the left edge, and a woman with long dark hair in white clothing stands at the right. Devotees offer respect in a darshan-style moment.2013-01-20May 14 20132013-05-14A seated man in an orange-and-yellow robe with a rudraksha mala draped over his shoulders extends his right hand to touch the forehead of a bald older man in a white shirt, who holds up his palm in greeting. Behind them a deity murti is decorated with red and white flower garlands and a green cloth, and a gold lion-headed seat arm is at the left. The setting resembles a devotional gathering or blessing moment. The seated man in orange shows a person cues: a rudraksha mala and saffron-orange robe, though the seat and blessing role alone are not decisive.2013-10-02A seated man in a rust-red dhoti-style garment with bare upper torso, a red-and-white garland and rudraksha beads, and a white vertical tilak on his forehead, leans forward and places his right palm on the forehead of a kneeling devotee. The devotee wears a white shirt, an orange-saffron shawl, and a rudraksha mala, with his hands folded in anjali. Behind them stand floral garlands of red, yellow and orange flowers and a golden deity murti on a red tiger-striped cloth before deep burgundy drapes. A woman in the background wears a red bindi. The scene suggests a blessing exchange, possibly darshan. Appearance-based label: a person, with the seated figure wearing rudraksha beads and a rust-red garment in a throne setting.2014-09-28A photograph of a seated figure with long dark hair tied back, bare-shouldered, wearing a rust-orange cloth and red and yellow flower garlands, with a white tilak on the forehead. He leans forward and reaches out to clasp the shoulder of an older man with grey hair in a white shirt who bows toward him. A golden deity murti or ornament sits behind them, with a deep maroon velvet curtain and floral garlands on the pillars. A woman in a brown shawl with a rudraksha-style mala watches at the right edge.2014-09-28July 08 20172017-07-08A photograph of a seated man in a red-brown ochre robe with a long pale-pink and white flower garland and brown rudraksha mala, sitting on an ornate gold throne with red cushioning. He has long dark hair swept back, a full beard, and white vibhuti marks on his forehead, and smiles while a bald elderly man in a white shirt and white dhoti, with red and gold bangles and a red thread on his wrist, reaches out to place his hand on the seated man's head. Red and orange stage lighting fills the background behind a gold pillar.2017-04-05A photograph of a seated man in an orange shawl over a red top, with a red vertical tilak on his forehead, smiling broadly. He sits on an ornate gilded throne with floral carvings, backed by red and yellow garlands and a red draped backdrop. A younger man in a white kurta leans in from the left, hands clasped near the seated man's hands. The seated man wears saffron and red clothing and a shawl; the appearance cues are consistent with a person on a throne being greeted. Setting appears to be a stage or ceremonial hall.2009-08-30A seated man in a maroon robe with a white-and-red tilak on his forehead and a thick garland of white and red flowers sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions. A bare-chested figure. A potted green plant and an orange cloth are beside the throne, with garlanded deity murti or statues visible behind in red and gold drapery, and a woman in cream sari at the right edge.2015-04-26January 20 20132013-01-20July 11 20092009-07-11
