A man sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne decorated with red and yellow marigold garlands and red cushions. He wears a light saffron-tan turban, white dhoti and shawl, a gold ceremonial necklace and gold bangles. A large deity murti in copper-toned finish with a crown, jewelled necklaces and a red floral garland stands behind him against a red-orange backdrop. To the right is a gold peacock beside a smaller deity figure with a veena and garland. A gold-and-red footstool rests at his feet, and a gold parasol with tassels hangs above the throne. The backdrop shows the words Dasara and a Kannada phrase. Swamiji (probable) is seated on the throne, with cues of a turban, gold necklace and throne-seated stature, though appearance is only partly distinctive.
