A golden deity murti of Saraswati, the goddess of learning, stands at the centre, framed by a dense arch of yellow marigold and purple and red flower garlands. She wears a white sari with a gold and jewelled waist belt, a jewelled crown, layered gold necklaces and a pendant, and holds a large gold veena, a stringed instrument, with a small crystal mala hanging from one hand. A paper slip tucked at her side reads Nithyanandam. Behind her, tasselled red, orange, white and blue cloth hangs. No living people are visible.
