A woman in a teal salwar rides a scooter in the foreground, passing a yellow auto-rickshaw. Several people in white traditional clothes walk along the road near a white van and a parked truck. Tall coconut palms and street lamps line the road under a clear blue sky, with a white-and-blue railing on the right.2009-01-30A photograph taken from inside a vehicle on a hazy urban road with a wide bridge-like causeway lined with cream railings. A white bus with a blue stripe travels away from the camera in the centre lane, and a motorcyclist rides ahead. On the left, a small temple with a white domed spire and a red-tiled shop front sits beside roadside hoardings. On the right, a multi-storey white building with flat roofs and street lamps lines the road, with a palm tree and overhead cables. Pedestrians are visible at the right edge near the railing.2012-05-09October 09 20062006-10-09Photo taken through a car windshield of a wide concrete road crossing a bridge lined with black-and-white striped kerbs and white railings. Its piers stand in the water and their reflections are visible. Several buses, a truck and cars are queued on the deck, with a white truck carrying an orange flag near the centre. Palm trees and roadside trees line the far bank under a hazy sky, and a tall lattice telecom tower rises in the background. Three or four people wade in the shallows at the lower right, partly obscured by the piers.2009-01-30October 09 20062006-10-09A wide, largely empty paved road runs straight toward the horizon under a partly cloudy sky, with a white-and-grey striped concrete median curb on the left. Two-storey buildings with shopfronts line the left side, and a small roadside building with a painted signboard, parked motorcycles and a white car stands on the right. A tall palm tree and overhead electrical wires cross the scene, and a few pedestrians and scooters are visible in the distance.2012-07-08A photograph of a long, flat concrete road bridge stretching toward a pale hazy sky. Tall rusted red-brown lamp posts with floodlights line both sides, with matching red-brown metal railings. A yellow centre line runs down the road. Several vehicles, including a yellow-green van and a light blue vehicle, are crossing in the distance, and a few small figures stand near the right edge. No ritual, deity or a person depiction is visible.2009-01-14
