Night street scene of a procession. Two men in white shirts or white dhotis hold up a long banner with a red border and yellow-cream background, and a man in white dhoti stands at the right edge. The banner shows a large portrait labelled with a name, a figure in orange robes and a red turban with a rudraksha mala and ornate gold necklace, smiling with a raised hand, and a round inset of a deity pair on a decorated vehicle. White flags with blue emblems are visible behind the banner. Printed text announces an Ananda Ratotsavam procession on 28-10-2006 at Tirunelveli. A red truck is partly visible at the left.

A blurred night-time procession with many people in white and orange clothing moving through a crowd. A woman in a blue sari and a man in white shirt are prominent, with a man in orange at the lower left. Raised above the crowd is a framed portrait of a seated, orange-robed figure with a turban-like head covering, hands in lap, labelled with Tamil script. Warm lamplight and string lights fill the scene, and a few people wear white markings on their foreheads. The image appears to show a ratha yatra style procession with devotees carrying a portrait.

Night-time outdoor photograph of a crowd gathered at a roadside ceremony, lit by a bright flash and street lamps. Foreground figures in white dhotis and shirts stand with hands pressed in anjali, and a man in a yellow-orange cloth over white robes stands near the centre. A barefoot man in white works at a low wooden fire setup with burning sticks, and a woman in a patterned sari holds a child. Behind them, two tall banners show deity imagery, one with a flame motif and Tamil script. Several people in shirts and dhotis stand in the background among street lights and a parked vehicle, consistent with a homa or puja being performed during a procession.

Behind them saffron and red flags on poles, and a lit ratha or palanquin with figures in the distance. A tripod-mounted video camera stands at the right edge beside a man in white. Many people in white, saffron and orange cloth fill the street.
