A large grey stone statue of a seated deity is being finished in an outdoor workshop. In the foreground a pair of hands in white cloth works on the statue base with carving tools, a chisel and a knife with wooden handles resting on the plinth. Behind, a figure in saffron-orange robes and a white-clad man walk across dirt ground past rows of small painted deity statues on a table under a tin-roofed brick shed, with palm trees beyond.

Close photo of a polished black stone Nandi bull statue with carved harness, bells and a chest garland, facing right. Behind it, a standing figure in a flowing saffron-orange garment is partly visible at the right edge, and palm trees fill the background. A man in white clothes stands at the far right edge. The statue is the focus.

A large dark grey stone Nandi bull statue lies on a concrete plinth outdoors. The carved bull wears a layered necklace of bells and beads across its chest and an ornately carved saddle cloth draped over its back. Behind it stand palm trees, leafy trees, a wooden scaffold frame and a pile of rough quarry stones, with dry earth and a clear blue sky. No people are visible in the scene.

Close view of a large dark stone Nandi bull statue, carved with a decorated collar, bells and a harness, seated on a plinth outdoors. A figure in orange robes stands behind it, one bare hand resting on the bull's head and bare feet on a small wooden stool. Nearby, a few people in white clothes watch, and brass or copper vessels sit on a table at right. Tall palm trees and green foliage fill the background.

A photograph of a large grey stone Nandi bull statue seated on a plinth at a construction site, surrounded by bamboo scaffolding and tied poles. The carved bull wears a layered necklace with beaded and tasselled bands across its chest. Behind it stands a tiered stone structure, with palm trees, sandy ground, loose building materials and plastic sheets around the site. No people are visible.

A saffron-robed man walks along a sandy path among large grey stone deity sculptures in an outdoor yard lined with palm and banana trees. He wears an orange cloth wrap over his shoulder and matching orange garment, with white-clad men and a few onlookers nearby. Several seated and standing stone murtis, including a multi-armed figure and a figure holding a trident-like staff, stand on carved pedestals. A bearded man in a white dhoti and a man in a blue shirt stand at the edges. The scene suggests temple sculpture work or a sculpture yard.

A photograph at a construction site with bamboo scaffolding and palm trees behind. A large grey stone Nandi bull sculpture with a carved necklace sits at left, and a stone base or platform stands beside it. A man in a plain white shirt stands at centre, hands resting on the stone ledge. At right, a long-haired person with a bare upper body wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over the shoulder and gestures while speaking. A man in a pink-and-white checked shirt is seen from behind at lower left. The person in orange shows a distinctive long dark hair and an orange wrap, but the face and overall appearance are not clearly enough established to confirm identity, so the role is given as a devotee in orange robes.

A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi wears a saffron-orange shawl draped over bare shoulders, seated beside a grey stone Nandi bull statue with a carved ornamental collar. Behind him is a wooden scaffold of bamboo poles and ropes, with palm trees, orange and white cloth hanging on a line, and a stone base under construction. The orange cloth and long hair suggest a person appearance, with the seated person's role as a devotee or sannyasi beside the sacred bull. Another partly visible person stands at the right edge.

A dark stone Nandi bull statue sits on a black pedestal, water sprayed over it in a fine jet, with a mottled reddish-copper shrine tower and palm fronds behind. On the right, a figure in an orange robe stands on a platform, partially cropped, with a person in white beside the platform. The statue is a deity murti being bathed during a pradosha puja setting.

A photograph of a dark stone Nandi bull statue, seated with its head raised, being bathed by water poured over it from a saffron-orange cloth draped above. Water streams down its carved neck, chest and forelegs. In front, a wooden stand holds brass pots and vessels. Several men and boys in white ritual clothes stand behind, one man on the right wearing a rudraksha mala and white dhoti, a boy in the centre holding a brass vessel. Palm trees and foliage fill the background, with a small white structure at right.
