A dense outdoor communal meal under a striped red-and-white canopy with bamboo poles and a blue-edged awning. Many devotees crowd the space, many women in sarees of pink, turquoise, orange, green and red, and men in white shirts and white dhotis. A long covered walkway with a corrugated translucent roof and blue steel posts serves as an annadan dining line. Crowds of devotees stand and sit along it, many in white ritual clothes, with a few in orange, purple and yellow saris. Volunteers in white shirts and gloves serve food from steel pots and trays onto plates held by people in the foreground, including a woman in a white sari with a red dot wearing gloves. Garlands hang along the far wall beside a framed portrait, and colourful festoon bunting decorates the trees and tents outside.
