A photograph of a Hindu ritual at a golden-ornamented setting. A seated man in a rust-orange dhoti and shawl, with rudraksha malas and gold-framed spectacles, stretches an arm toward a silver tray of ripe bananas and a small oil lamp with a visible flame. Smoke or incense rises from a bowl near him. Behind him stands a gilded throne-like structure with a golden kalasha-style finial. To the left, a young man in white dhoti with gold border and orange shawl, wearing a white vibhuti marking and rudraksha bracelets, holds his palms together in prayer. Another seated figure in white with forehead markings sits further back. Garlands of orange and white flowers hang at the left edge. Silver bowls and plates hold offerings.2015-04-28April 28 20152015-04-28April 28 20152015-04-28A ritual scene in a hall with a gold-and-white throne behind a seated figure.
