A long-haired man with a white and red forehead mark, wearing a red-orange wrap and a gold beaded necklace with a pendant, reaches out to place his hand on the head of an older bald man with grey hair. The older man wears a white kurta and an orange-red scarf printed with text, and presses his palm forward in respect. Behind them stand a silver ceremonial staff with a finial, a golden cobra-hooded ornament, and red curtains. Probable Swamiji (probable) is the man giving the blessing, shown by long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and saffron-red clothing, while the older man is a devotee receiving the blessing.2014-07-27July 20 20142014-07-20Photograph of a seated man with long dreadlocked hair, wearing a rust-brown robe with gold border, a heavy gold necklace with rudraksha-style beads and gold ornaments, hoop earrings and a white tilak on his forehead, placing his right hand on the forehead of a kneeling devotee in hands-folded namaste. The devotee wears a white dhoti, an orange shawl printed with repeated text, and white tilak and white markings on his arms and chest. Behind them is an ornate gold wall carved with animal and floral motifs and a perforated lattice panel, and a gold throne-like seat is visible on the left. The moment appears to be a blessing or darshan exchange.2017-08-11A seated man in saffron-orange robes with a gold ceremonial necklace of beads and a red bindi sits on a red patterned throne, smiling as he extends his hand to touch the forehead of an older bald man in a white shirt wearing an orange shawl with printed Nithyanandoham text; the older man bows with palms raised. Behind them stand a silver ceremonial staff and a golden serpent-shaped ornament, with green foliage and a wooden backdrop. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, saffron robes and a gold bead necklace, and the throne-side setting fits an ashram darshan.2014-08-01June 27 20162016-06-27A photograph of a smiling man in a bare-chested red-orange robe, with long swept-back hair, a gold ceremonial necklace of large beads and a small red tilak on his forehead, extending his arm to touch the head of a younger man kneeling before him. The younger man wears a white t-shirt and an orange-red shawl printed with repeated text, and holds a rudraksha mala on his wrist. Behind them stands a silver trident and a golden deity murti, with a potted plant and draped curtains in the background.2014-08-01July 16 20142014-07-16A seated figure with long swept-back hair, a yellow tilak on the forehead, a red-and-white flower garland and a red garment touches the forehead of a young man kneeling in a white kurta with a red shawl, hands folded in anjali. The seated figure holds a folded white paper in one hand. Gold lion-shaped throne arms, a peacock-feather fan and a silver staff with a trident-like top frame the scene, with red drapery behind. Swamiji (probable) is identified by long swept-back hair, ornate red-and-gold clothing, a flower garland and the seated throne-side position, consistent with the page's mention of Paramahamsa Nithyananda at this event. The kneeling young man is a devotee receiving blessing during a satsang or darshan setting.2014-05-04A seated man in an orange-red robe with a gold-trimmed yellow garment and a long rudraksha-style gold bead necklace reaches forward to touch the forehead of a younger man in a white kurta with a red shawl.
