A man with long dark hair in a bun, wearing a bronze-brown silk garment with gold border and a rudraksha mala necklace, bare-shouldered, places his right palm on the forehead of a seated man in a white shirt with a red shawl who tilts his head back with eyes closed and hands open. Behind them hangs a bright garland of multicoloured flowers, orange and turquoise draped cloth, and a fan. At the right edge, another man in white with a white forehead band and beaded mala watches. The gesture suggests a blessing or initiation. Two people are visible.2013-11-10October 07 20122012-10-07July 17 20132013-07-17November 10 20132013-11-10A photograph of a seated man in saffron-red robes with a rudraksha mala and a red-and-gold wristband, placing his right hand on the head of a kneeling older man with grey curly hair who wears a white shirt and an orange shawl. Behind them, golden ornamental objects and a red-and-gold patterned cloth are visible, with other seated devotees in white and orange shawls in the background. The kneeling man's hands are joined near the floor. The scene is set in a warmly lit room with cream walls. The seated figure's identity is not established by appearance cues alone, so he is described by role only.2014-03-17July 03 20132013-07-03A seated figure with long dark hair, wearing an orange-brown saffron wrap, a rudraksha mala and gold ceremonial beads, places his right palm on the forehead of a young man in a white t-shirt with blue sleeve trim, whose eyes are closed and head is tilted back while the first figure's other hand supports his neck. Behind them, a garlanded deity murti with red and white flower garlands and gold decorations is visible, and a bald man in a white dhoti with a gold border and rudraksha mala looks on at right. A visible appearance-based candidate for Swamiji wears distinctive saffron wrap, long hair and rudraksha malas during a blessing; this is a probable Swamiji in person, giving a blessing to a devotee.2013-07-03A seated man in a red-maroon robe with white vibhuti on his forehead, a white floral garland of jasmine and marigold draped over his shoulders, and a small silver-and-gold ornament at his neck, extends his right hand to touch the forehead of a bare-chested man in a white dhoti and a rudraksha bead garland with an orange-brown shawl. The seated figure sits beside gilded lion-head armrests, and a tall silver staff stands between them. A woman in a dark top with a rudraksha mala watches in the background, and a red-and-gold throne is visible at right. The setting is a hall with a painted backdrop and framed artwork. The gesture resembles a blessing touch.2014-05-13
