September 10 20112011-09-10A large display screen shows a multi-panel video-conference grid of group yoga sessions in different locations. Each panel shows people standing on colourful yoga mats in white or light clothing, some in saffron, green or orange outfits, with sign labels reading SEATTLE CHIDAMBARAM, CALGARY, PURI JAGANNATH VANCOUVER and PM SINGAPURAM, and a bottom-right panel of a single instructor in white standing on a mat. The screen is the only subject of the image, while the people in it are shown on screens rather than physically present, so no physical people are counted; the centre panel shows a figure in white and grey, and the dominant display is a group yoga practice. Another panel shows a figure in white near a red-and-gold seated arrangement.2011-09-10A photograph of a large screen showing a multi-panel video conference collage of group sessions at several centres. Top left, a Singapuram room with people on yellow mats, one seated on a red cushion. Top right, a Seattle Chidambaram panel with people in white and blue clothing and a figure in an orange robe at the front. Middle row, panels labelled with a red-clad figure, a group in white on a striped rug, and a Calgary panel where a figure in an orange shawl stands on a red mat. Bottom row shows a room with deity murti and a purple curtain with a flower vase. Several people are visible across the panels, and the image is a screen capture of a live link.2011-09-10September 10 20112011-09-10A flat-screen TV displays a nine-panel video grid of simultaneous live connections to yoga and meditation groups. Panels show people in white and colourful clothing standing with arms raised on mats, with labels reading Toronto, Ohio, New York, USA, Guadeloupe and Seattle. Some panels show shrine areas with deity murti, pictures and red and pink drapes, and one shows a single person in white against purple curtains. Participants raise their arms in a standing stretch during the satsang session.2011-02-27September 10 20112011-09-10September 10 20112011-09-10September 29 20132013-09-29A multi-panel collage of video-feed screens showing yoga and meditation sessions, displayed on a large screen at an event. Panels show people in white clothing performing inverted and standing yoga postures on blue and pink mats, some lying prone on the floor, in rooms with wooden furniture and drapes. The top-right panel shows a yellow and orange altar with flowers. Lower right shows a purple curtain and a colourful striped mat. Because this is a screen displaying other feeds, the people appear only as depictions on the display.2011-01-22A photograph of a large flat-screen monitor showing a grid of video-conference tiles, each a separate remote group of devotees seated indoors. Tiles show people in white and cream clothing sitting on floors and sofas, with handwritten or printed place-name signs such as JUAREZ MEXICO, SEATTLE CHIDAMBARAM, NEW JERSEY OMKARESHWAR, GUADELOUPE, SINGAPURAM and PARIS. One tile shows an altar with a lamp and a deity image. In the bottom right tile, a man with short hair wearing an orange-saffron robe and a beaded necklace speaks, seemingly on a stage; he has some a person cues but the appearance is not conclusive. Several tiles show people in white, and a red-clothed woman sits on a sofa.2013-01-12A large display screen showing a multi-panel video conference grid of satsang participants seated on floors and mats in various rooms, with name placards including NEW YORK VARANASI, CALGARY AMARNATH, SOMNATH, TUCSON, VANCOUVER PURI and CHARLOTTE SRISAILAM. Many people in white, cream, blue and purple clothing sit cross-legged, some with notebooks. In the bottom-right panel, a figure in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas and a garland sits before an ornate golden throne with floral decorations, appearing to be the presenter for the session, and this appearance-based identification is probable: a person, seated on a golden peetha. Other panels show a framed portrait and an altar with flowers. The screen is partially visible at the right edge.2011-11-05September 30 20132013-09-30
