Behind them, out of focus, a seated gathering of devotees sits on a mat; women wear orange, red and yellow saris and several men wear white kurta-style clothing, some with orange stoles. The table cloth is orange and striped. The setting appears to be a homa or chandi homa ritual with chilies as offering, though the blur hides detail. Visible people are partially shown and mostly unidentifiable; no a person candidate is clearly distinguishable.2010-10-16 +2 copiesA close photograph of a large ornate silver bowl with a scalloped rim filled with dried red chillies, many whole and some broken, scattered across the surface.
