Outdoor ritual scene under a pink and white striped canopy beside a banana grove. A shirtless man with a sacred thread and beaded necklace kneels at a square yellow-painted fire pit filled with a yellow liquid in a silver bowl, raising a small ritual vessel. Beside him a second man in rust-orange robes, a white headband with a red crest, a rudraksha mala and a gold pendant kneels and holds a cup. A third person in orange sits on the steps near a silver lamp stand and a golden-draped throne. Small silver bowls hold kumkum, turmeric and offerings; a fire burns on a small hearth; a silver deity image and silver lamps stand nearby, with a tall silver vessel at right. Persons present appear to be priests performing a fire-ritual.

A photograph of a ritual preparation scene at an open-sided ashram pavilion. A bare-chested man in maroon dhoti kneels at left, handing a white cloth or ash to a woman in a maroon sari with rudraksha mala, who stands at a stone fire pit placing material into it. Beside them a man in a maroon robe with a crown-like white headband and rudraksha mala sits cross-legged. Behind them, a man in an orange robe and another in orange stand near a silver throne-like seat with ornate carved backrest. A large yellow-tinted stone yagna pit with offerings, brass bowls, a kalasha-style vessel and a lit oil lamp occupy the foreground, with a metal tray of ash. Potted plants and a ceiling fan are visible.

Outdoor ritual scene under a covered pavilion with palm and leafy plants behind. A bare-chested man in a red-orange dhoti kneels at left, handling a small offering on a leaf-lined tray. Beside him a woman in a red sari with a beaded necklace and bangles works over a flat stone at a clay hearth. A man in a red-orange dhoti with a white headband and rudraksha mala sits at center. Behind them stand several people in orange and red garments and garlands. A large ornate silver throne stands at right. In the foreground a square, yellow-ochre fire pit lined with flowers holds a bowl of yellow liquid and small metal vessels, with a brass lamp and a kalasha-like pot nearby. Brass lamps and a standing fan appear at the edges, consistent with an aushada preparation ritual.

A photograph of a ritual preparation at a rectangular yellow-green stone or wooden platform with a sunken pit filled with sand or ash, edged with white powder lines and scattered red petals. A seated man in an orange dhoti, orange turban and cloth draped over his shoulders, with a large beaded necklace and white markings on his arms, is pouring or sprinkling something into the pit with his hand. Flower-filled silver bowls, small dishes of coloured powder, a silver spouted vessel, a bundle of dried grass and a notebook sit on the cloth-covered floor. Behind him a figure in orange stands near a golden-draped seat on steps, a woman in an orange sari holds a microphone, and a man in white dhoti with bare chest and beaded necklace stands at left. A tall ornate golden lamp stand and fans are visible in the background.

Behind the fire, a bare-chested man with long hair and rudraksha malas sits cross-legged on a raised silver-edged seat, holding a ritual staff, with a silver figure beside him. Seated at left, several people wear saffron-orange garments and orange turbans, one playing a drum, while others in red and orange clothing sit on a striped cloth.
