Outdoor ritual procession under a corrugated metal shelter with red steel beams. A man in a rust-red dhoti and shawl, wearing a long red and orange flower garland and a vermilion-marked forehead, holds a lit oil lamp in one hand and a small bell in the other while looking toward a large deity murti at right. The murti is hung with yellow marigold and red flower garlands and gold beaded ornaments, with a decorated headdress. Behind him, many people in saffron and orange robes and white clothing stand in a line with hands folded in prayer, and a sun-faded ceremonial canopy with colourful fringe appears at left. A small kalasha-like brass object and a tall brass stand are visible near the left edge.2015-02-23January 1st 2013A photograph of a shaved-headed man in a rust-red robe and a thick red and white floral garland, with a long gold-bead necklace and gold armlets, holding a silver lamp with a burning flame in one hand and a brass bell in the other, smiling at a yellow-and-orange flower garland decorated with gold coins in the foreground. Behind him, a line of devotees in orange and red robes stand with palms pressed together under a corrugated roof draped with a colourful fringed cloth, trees visible outside. This appears to be an aarti being performed before a deity or decorated altar. The man wears a white vibhuti mark on his forehead. A crowd of roughly two dozen people is visible.2015-02-23December 23 20162016-12-23May 26 20132013-05-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a smiling man with shoulder-length dark hair and a white-and-red tilak on his forehead, holding a lit oil lamp in one hand and a silver handbell in the other.
