December 17 20062006-12-17A figure seated with palms pressed together in namaste on an ornate golden throne (peetha) on a decorated stage. The seated person wears a light blue top with a pale cream-and-gold draped garment and a small white crown-like headpiece. The throne has red cushioned seats, gold lion-shaped armrests and a white-and-gold front panel, and sits beneath a white fringed canopy. Behind it, a large arch of red, yellow, purple and orange flower garlands frames the seat, with fern and marigold swags on draped silver-grey and gold curtains and an orange backdrop. Potted flower arrangements flank the stage.2008-12-27December 06 20102010-12-06An empty decorated stage backdrop with no people present. A plain grey-beige cloth wall hangs behind a dark wooden valance edged with a cream tassel fringe. Along the valance sit a row of small brass-and-red oil lamps, each with a lit flame, and white jasmine garlands hang down the wall. A large square gold-and-red carved ornamental panel with scrolling leaf motifs is mounted at centre. A red light washes the left side, and red carpet covers the floor.2010-12-29December 30 20062006-12-30Close-up photograph of a tall column wrapped in a dense garland of yellow flower clusters, each cluster bound with orange thread and centred on a green woven disc with a small white star-shaped motif. The blurred background is brown and warm. No people are visible in the frame, and the garland appears to be a ceremonial decoration hung on a pillar or pole.2018-05-24A seated person in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions, hands pressed together in namaste at the chest. The throne is draped with garlands of white flowers, red roses and yellow marigolds. A white-draped table with a vase of yellow flowers stands at left and another at right, each beside a wooden box holding apples. The backdrop has silver sequined curtains, pink drapes and gold peacock-motif panels, and the green floor carries a small potted plant. The figure has a tilaka on the forehead and a rudraksha-style mala around the neck.2009-07-11May 28 20132013-05-28January 03 20092009-01-03 +2 copiesA figure in an orange-red robe with a beaded mala sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, hands pressed together in namaste, in front of a large golden tree-like backdrop with gold leaves.
