March 24 20142014-03-24March 24 20142014-03-24March 24 20142014-03-24A person in orange sannyasi-style clothing stoops at the edge of shallow, rippling water, reaching a hand down toward the surface. The figure wears an orange hooded top with a gold-bordered orange wrap over the shoulder and orange trousers, with a long rudraksha mala hanging from the neck. Dark hair falls forward as the head is bowed. The water has grey-blue tones and a sandy shore. No other people are visible. The scene suggests a ritual dip or water offering at a river edge.2011-08-05A photograph of a bare-chested man with long dark hair tied back, wearing an orange-red cloth draped over his shoulder and wrapped around his waist, standing waist-deep in river water. He bends forward, smiling, cupping his right hand as water splashes from it, apparently offering water in a riverside ritual. The water is grey-green and sunlit. Outdoors at a sacred river bathing place.2006-01-08April 28 20182018-04-28A man kneels waist-deep in clear water, cupping both hands to scoop and pour water, his head bowed in a ritual gesture. He wears a dark maroon-red robe, multiple strands of rudraksha malas across his chest and arms, and a white and red forehead marking with a red dot. Behind him, a figure in white and gold-bordered dhoti stands in the water with hands on his head, and a blurred orange-clad figure is at left. The setting appears to be a river or sacred water body. Swamiji (probable): the man has long swept-back dark hair, rudraksha malas and a red-toned sannyasi robe, consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji at this event.2018-04-28Close view of a person wading into churning, foamy brown seawater. Only the lower body and one arm are visible: the figure wears a deep red-orange cloth wrap with a gold border, and the right hand, with a red thread and a rudraksha bracelet of brown beads on the wrist, touches the water. A brown rudraksha mala hangs at the upper edge of the frame. No face is shown. The image is a photograph of a bath in the ocean at Tiruchendur, near the Subrahmanya Swami temple.2018-03-17 +1 copiesClose photo of a bare-shouldered man with wet, slicked-back black hair bowing his head at the water's edge, smiling, during a river bathing rite. He wears a rust-red wrap draped over one shoulder and a heavy multi-strand necklace of golden-toned beads and rudraksha seeds, with matching beaded bracelets on his wrist and upper arm. Water drips down his face and shoulder; the blurred river and other bathers in orange and red cloth are behind him. The distinctive gold-and-rudraksha ornamentation and long dark hair are visible cues, but the page does not place this event with a person, so identity is uncertain.2016-04-22January 06 20142014-01-06March 17 20182018-03-17A smiling man in saffron-orange robes bends forward at the edge of a pale, misty shoreline, reaching one hand down toward still water. He wears a dark rudraksha mala around his neck, beaded wrist bracelets, and light beige sandals. A wrap of orange cloth drapes over his shoulders and a darker orange dhoti covers his lower body. The background is hazy white sky over calm water with a faint distant shore.2014-01-06
