The player wears white clothing and a red-and-black thread bracelet, and has cream-coloured finger caps on several fingers. The blurred background shows other people and warm tones. Only the drummer's hand and arm are visible, so the count of physical people is limited to that single player.2016-12-17December 20 20132013-12-20A blurred close-up of a person seated on a red stone step playing a silver-rimmed hand drum with a pale skin head. The player wears a white kurta and white trousers, and rings or bangles are visible on the fingers striking the drum. A red cloth lies at the lower left and a reddish sandstone wall forms the backdrop. The hands are in motion, showing the drumming action.2013-06-24Close photograph of a drummer's hands playing a large wooden frame drum with a pale skin head, wooden body bound with metal bands, and a wooden stick held in the right hand. The drummer wears a pink-peach cotton garment and a tan sleeve. In the background, blurred bare feet with ankle bells and a green skirt with gold border move along a paved road.2006-09-17March 07 20132013-03-07A close photograph of a man's hands playing a round drum with a cream-coloured stretched skin face and a dark wooden body banded with metal rings, held against a red-maroon garment and a white dhoti. Fingers wear brass or bone finger caps while striking the drumhead, on sandy ground in an outdoor setting. Another person's white-clad legs appear at the upper left edge. The drum appears to be a percussion instrument used in a ritual or procession context.2010-12-22December 18 20162016-12-18March 07 20162016-03-07
