Water or milk is being poured from a golden spout held by a person in white clothing at the upper right, arcing over the lingam. Behind it a second dark lingam stands on a base, with brass pots and a deity murti in orange and red on a tray of flowers and offerings. This appears to be an abhishekam being performed. No people are clearly visible beyond the white-clad arm and hand.2016-12-18October 01 20062006-10-01Close view of a black stone Shiva lingam decorated with yellow-and-black tripundra stripes across its body. Its top and base are encircled with orange marigold garlands and rudraksha beads, with red rose petals and white flowers scattered on top. Red and gold textile draped behind it, with more marigolds and offerings nearby, suggests a Shiva lingam abhishekam and puja setting in a temple. No people are visible.2015-10-27A black stone shivalingam on a square yoni-pitha base is being bathed with water poured from a golden pot held by a person in white garments at upper right, with a thin stream visible. Red and orange flower petals and a red flower rest on top of the lingam, and yellow and white flower petals line the base. A small brass oil lamp with a cobra-hooded handle burns in front. Behind, a golden murti of a deity in orange and red sits near brass plates of offerings and food, and a second black lingam stands at left beside a golden vessel. This looks like an abhishekam ritual.2016-12-18
