A photograph taken at night inside a temple-like hall with a bright light above. In the foreground a bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a striped border leans over a teal-and-green wooden counter, holding a long metal rod with a flaming wick-like tip near a plate of green limes and bananas. Behind him a seated man in a pale green shirt and purple-grey dhoti wears a beaded rudraksha-style mala and holds a rod. A woman in a brown-red sari and face mask holds a brass plate of green limes and sits at the counter. Several other seated people in the background wear masks and light clothing. Shop signs are visible in the upper right.

A bare-footed man in a pale yellow short-sleeved shirt and white dhoti, with a vertical sacred ash mark on his forehead, leans forward holding a red-and-green cloth over a woven bamboo basket filled with yellow-green fruits and a coconut. Hands from the crowd below hold up a brass tray of fruit and coconut.
