In the foreground a man with long swept-back hair, bare-chested and wearing a red-and-gold dhoti, a red and white flower garland and a gold necklace, walks barefoot with his hands joined near his chest. Behind him a bald man in a red-and-gold dhoti carries a tall wooden staff, and a second man in similar red robes raises a pointing finger. Several rows of people in saffron-orange robes walk with hands folded in prayer, and a woman in a yellow shawl and white sari stands among them. A decorated ceremonial umbrella with a red and gold canopy is held aloft, and palm fronds hang overhead. The scene reads as a ritual procession.2014-11-26February 28 20132013-02-28August 16 20172017-08-16 +1 copiesAugust 16 20172017-08-16 +1 copiesMarch 18 20132013-03-18February 23 20152015-02-23A photograph of a procession on a paved courtyard under a open pavilion. At the centre, a bearded man with long dark hair wears a deep maroon-brown robe and a long garland of white flowers with red and green tassels, walking beneath a large ornate umbrella with multicoloured fringe panels. Beside him, drummers and attendants in orange and saffron dhotis and garments carry drums and a small kalasha-style object, and one man in white dhoti and shawl walks with them. Along the right, a large crowd of devotees in orange, red and maroon saris and kurtas stands with palms pressed together in respectful greeting. Colourful kolam rangoli patterns lie on the ground in the lower right corner, and a banner with a bird emblem hangs from the pavilion.2017-01-01August 20 20142014-08-20 +1 copiesNovember 05 20132013-11-05
