Beside him a man in a purple turban and pink garment holds the garland's base over a metal bowl. A rudraksha bracelet and vibhuti marks are visible. The setting appears to be a temple or ritual hall with other devotees in the background.2018-04-14May 24 20182018-05-24 +1 copiesA seated man in a red-maroon robe with a red-and-white flower garland and gold necklaces sits on a red and gold throne, adorned with gold armlets and bangles, with a white tilak on his forehead and long swept-back hair. He holds and arranges a strand of red and white flowers on a golden staff. Beside him, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a garland offers a silver tray of fruit, including oranges, apples and a mango. Gold-coloured hangings and a white fan appear in the background. Appearance cues with distinctive adornments and a throne suggest a person presence, but the seated figure's identity is not established by face and is listed as unsure.2016-07-02A photograph of a ceremony in a gold-hung shrine room. A smiling man with long dreadlocked hair, a dark red-brown cloth and a large multi-coloured garland of yellow, white, red and green flowers sits on a red cushioned seat. A priest in white dhoti with a gold border and orange shawl leans forward and offers him an item with both hands. Behind them stand other attendants, one wearing a rudraksha mala, and a large floral garland hangs on the wall with green leaves and a gold trident-shaped ornament at the left. The seated man has distinctive dreadlocked hair and garlands, but the appearance is not clear enough for a confident identification.2016-07-19Night outdoor scene of a ceremony. A bearded man in a dark maroon-red robe with a shawl and a red tilak on his forehead holds a large garland of white flowers with pink-red blossoms and green leaves, looking down at it. A long-haired devotee with a wide orange-red waist cloth and an orange-beaded bracelet bends forward toward the garland. Behind them, a man in white dhoti with orange-gold border stands, and a person in an orange-red cloth is at the right edge near a golden pole. Bright lamps light the background of trees and onlookers.2016-10-29June 20 20172017-06-20May 26 20172017-05-26A temple interior scene at a shrine with a metal grille behind. In the centre, a man in saffron-orange garments with a pink rose garland, a rudraksha band on his upper arm, a rudraksha headband and vibhuti marks is bowing with his hands together. Beside him, an older bald priest in a gold silk shawl and a rudraksha headband holds a leaf and a tray of bananas and fruit as an offering. A younger attendant in orange with gold ceremonial necklaces stands at left, and a gold-bordered pillar with carved patterns is at right. Judging by the rose garland and fruit offering, this could be part of a puja or darshan, though the scene is not fully clear.2012-05-16May 28 20172017-05-28March 26 20172017-03-26A photograph of a ceremonial exchange between two men in a crowded hall with orange-robed devotees behind them. On the left, a man in an orange wrap and a black turban with a tall red-and-white garland and gold ornaments stands with his palms pressed in offering. Opposite him, a bare-chested priest with a shaved head and sandalwood markings wears a yellow shawl and a purple patterned dhoti, holding a white garland and extending his hands. Behind them, men in orange and saffron turbans and rudraksha malas stand with hands folded, and a woman in pink and a woman in white watch at the edge.
