A photograph of a large screen showing a live video call of a group of women and a man gathered in a living room with cream curtains and a beige sofa. In the centre, a smiling woman with long light-brown hair, a red bindi and a green-and-white tie-dye top holds a phone to her ear and wears beaded bracelets and a red-beaded necklace. Beside her, a woman in a black top with a patterned necklace leans in smiling. Behind them, a woman in a blue sleeveless top stands near the window, and a man in a yellow-green shirt with a dark head wrap stands at right. The figure's hands are pressed together in front of the chest. Around the seat, a seated group of devotees sits on white sheets on the floor, many in white dhotis and mundus, women in white saris with coloured borders, and a few in red, green and yellow clothes, with some holding brass plates of offerings. A long painted frieze of figures hangs on the far wall beside a wooden cabinet. This appears to be a padha pooja gathering in a home.2010-02-18
