In the foreground, a man in a saffron-orange sash over bare shoulders, with a long orange-red beaded mala around his neck and a gold-bordered orange wrap, stands at right with a white bandage on his forearm, extending his hand. His hair is swept back in a bun and he wears a red mark on his forehead and gold earrings. A man in a white shirt with an orange lanyard leans in and holds out a hand while a man in a white shirt and glasses applies a red mark to his palm. Several other people stand in the background, some in white and some in striped shirts, and a bright shrine decoration is visible at the far right. Whether the saffron-clad man is the Swamiji is an appearance-based judgment: the orange mala, saffron-gold wrap and swept-back hair are present, so this is a probable candidate.2013-09-28A photograph of an indoor ceremonial hall with a white ceiling canopy and striped fabric hangings with orange tassels. In the centre, a man in an orange saffron garment with a red-and-gold tilak and multiple rudraksha malas raises one palm toward an older man in a white shirt, who holds his hands together in greeting. Beside him, a monk in an orange robe holds a silver tray with flowers and offerings. Behind them, other men in white dhotis wear gold necklaces, and a bald man in a white garment stands at right. A seated figure appears at left in a red shirt. a person: the central man has long dark hair and rudraksha malas over an orange robe, but these cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described by role as a devotee-type figure in orange.2011-02-02October 20 20132013-10-20 +1 copiesSeptember 26 20132013-09-26
