A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, wearing a rudraksha mala, a long white flower garland and a tilak on his forehead. Pink flowers stand in vases beside the throne against a painted backdrop of fish and sky. In front, a golden lotus-shaped pedestal holds brass bowls, red fruit and marigold petals. Several devotees kneel around it: a woman in a paisley shawl with hands folded in prayer, a woman in red and orange offering to the bowls, a young boy in white reaching toward the pedestal, and other women in saris and orange garments with folded hands.2012-07-20January 31 20132013-01-31A photograph of a padapuja session in a room with a fiery red-and-gold backdrop. A man with a shaved head and a vibhuti mark sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, wearing an orange robe, a long rudraksha mala and pink-and-white garlands draped over his shoulders. Seated devotees kneel on a red patterned rug around a gold padapuja platform holding flowers, fruits and small oil lamps. Two women in saris on the left offer flowers and prayer hands, while others on the right, including a child in a red shirt, join with folded hands. The seated figure is the appearance-based candidate for a person, but his identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2012-07-19A photo of a padapuja ceremony in a bright hall. A man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing an orange robe and a white jasmine garland with green leaves, his palms pressed together in prayer. Before him a young girl in a pink top and white pants pours water over his feet from a silver vessel, while a child in orange kneels nearby. A saffron-robed attendant with long hair crouches at right beside silver bowls and a tray of offerings. A woman in a grey top and white sari sits at left with folded hands, and a wooden tray of fruit sits on a white-covered table behind the throne. Several children and a woman sit on the floor in the foreground.2009-08-13July 14 20122012-07-14August 13 20092009-08-13July 21 20122012-07-21 +2 copiesA photograph of a padapuja ceremony in a red-draped room. A man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne wears an orange dhoti and shawl, a rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark; he holds his hands together and his bare feet rest on a gold tray. Devotees sit around the tray: a woman in white with an orange shawl bowing her head, a woman in orange and blue with an orange shawl, a woman in white at the right, and several others in orange clothing with palms pressed together. Trays hold flowers, fruit and brass vessels. Behind the throne are pink flowers, a framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda", and framed images of saints. A small child stands at the right edge.2012-07-16August 09 20092009-08-09A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a long red and yellow garland of flowers around the neck, and a white tilak on the forehead. Swamiji (probable): the long swept-back dark hair, saffron clothing, gold necklace and rudraksha-style red-bead garland are consistent with the page's claim, though the face and the frame edge limit certainty. Before him, devotees sit on the floor with hands folded in namaskar. A man in white clothes and a woman in a teal sari with gold bangles are visible, plus a woman in a purple top and a seated girl in red. Brass plates and bowls hold flowers, petals and offerings in front of the throne, and a lit lamp glows near the seat. A bright studio light and a dark backdrop frame the scene, with a curtain at the right and a wall air conditioner above.2013-01-31May 02 20142014-05-02December 01 20092009-12-01 +2 copies
