Outdoor photo on a dusty ground near an orange-walled building. A group of about eight people crowds around several plastic tubs and basins filled with water. A young boy in glasses and a brown shirt bends over a basin and drinks from his cupped hands. A bald man in white dhoti with a red-and-white cloth and a rudraksha mala, and a woman in a yellow sari with a white blouse, stand among them scooping water with a steel spoon. A girl in a navy t-shirt and a woman in a red-bordered white sari also lean in. Bottles and blue and red containers sit on a table in the background. The scene looks like a water-serving or annadan-style activity.

A photograph of a ground-level ritual at an outdoor site. A seated man in a peach-orange kurta and white dhoti, with a rudraksha mala and bangle, holds a small silver dish of stones over a brown clay pot set in an orange basket of gravel. A woman in a purple blouse and cream sari with gold border, also with bangles, pours from a red bowl beside him. Around them, about a dozen children and a few adults stand and crouch, watching closely, several wearing name badges. Gravel and sand lie on the ground.

Outdoor photo on a dusty open ground under an overcast sky, with floodlight poles and palm trees behind. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands near a large blue barrel, his back to the camera, with several orange, blue and red plastic buckets on the ground in front of him. A line of people in mostly white clothing, plus a woman in a purple top and a man in a blue shirt, stand watching along the right side, while small children in colourful dresses stand at the left edge. Two women in orange and blue salwar outfits stand at the far right. The figure in white is an ordinary devotee or volunteer; his appearance does not establish any identity, so no candidate is identified.

Photograph of a ritual water offering at an indoor site. Several young boys in white shirts and green-and-red lungis or dhotis pour water from brass kalasha pots into a blue pool decorated with green lotus leaves and white lotus flowers. Behind them, a woman in a white sari with a rudraksha-style necklace and an older woman in an orange shawl with a pink-clad companion stand by, some holding brass pots. Water flows from a hose into the pool. The setting appears to be an abhishekam-style water ritual. Cream and red banners hang on the wall.

Outdoor photograph of a group of children and young people in white ritual clothing gathered on dry earth near a low brick structure with a stainless steel vessel. A woman in a white sari with a yellow and red border and a beaded necklace pours liquid from a steel container into small paper cups, while several children in white kurtas and white salwar holding cups stand around her. A girl in a blue top and yellow pants also holds a cup. Palm trees and a corrugated roof appear in the background.

A woman in a white kurta with an orange-and-yellow striped shawl holds the bucket's edge while a man in a black t-shirt and dark trousers with a rudraksha-style mala and a tilak on his forehead stands at right. Other people with their backs or sides to the camera, including a woman in lavender and a man in a grey t-shirt, look on. Greenery and a tree trunk fill the background.

A group of devotees sits on the floor in a red-walled hall, preparing a puja. Several people lean over a long brass tray holding pink flowers, white jasmine-like blossoms, small brass bowls and a red fruit. A bare-chested man in white dhoti and shawl with red-and-gold border, and a shaved-headed young man in white dhoti, reach toward the flowers. Women wear yellow and green saris, rudraksha malas and forehead marks. A woman in orange sari stands in the background beside a lamp.
