September 04 20112011-09-04Outdoor photo on a dusty ground near an orange-walled building. A group of about eight people crowds around several plastic tubs and basins filled with water. A young boy in glasses and a brown shirt bends over a basin and drinks from his cupped hands. A bald man in white dhoti with a red-and-white cloth and a rudraksha mala, and a woman in a yellow sari with a white blouse, stand among them scooping water with a steel spoon. A girl in a navy t-shirt and a woman in a red-bordered white sari also lean in. Bottles and blue and red containers sit on a table in the background. The scene looks like a water-serving or annadan-style activity.2011-09-04 +1 copiesMarch 06 20072007-03-06May 02 20122012-05-02March 06 20072007-03-06March 06 20072007-03-06Several girls play and splash in a blue inflatable pool, water spraying around them. A girl in an orange floral top with a long braid smiles broadly and reaches toward a girl in a white and yellow striped shirt. Others in white and blue-striped tops are partly submerged, and one girl at the edge wears a light grey top. A faint purple logo sits in the top left corner.2007-03-06A photograph of a ground-level ritual at an outdoor site. A seated man in a peach-orange kurta and white dhoti, with a rudraksha mala and bangle, holds a small silver dish of stones over a brown clay pot set in an orange basket of gravel. A woman in a purple blouse and cream sari with gold border, also with bangles, pours from a red bowl beside him. Around them, about a dozen children and a few adults stand and crouch, watching closely, several wearing name badges. Gravel and sand lie on the ground.2010-12-02March 06 20072007-03-06March 06 20072007-03-06Outdoor photo of a group of children gathered closely around a small sapling with green leaves, held upright at the centre. A boy in a brown shirt has his eyes closed and his hands near the base of the plant, while a boy in a teal-grey shirt with a dark rudraksha-style mala stands behind him. A girl in a dark blue and teal top with a green headband, and another girl in a white floral top, also have their eyes closed. Hands from several children reach toward the plant on a dry, reddish-brown earth ground. A few adult hands appear at the edges. The children appear to be in a quiet, attentive moment of tree planting or blessing.2007-05-04May 02 20122012-05-02 +1 copies
