Night procession in a Tamil Nadu street: a decorated palanquin-style float carrying garlanded deity murtis, lit by a flame, is surrounded by a dense crowd of devotees in white dhotis and colourful saris, many with flowers in their hair. A white tour bus with a lit digital display stands at right, and motorcycles are parked in the foreground. The scene is a Kodikkan ratha yatra procession in Pondicherry.

Dusk street scene during a procession: a crowd of many men in white shirts and dhotis, plus checked and striped shirts, presses along a road beside a green city bus whose passengers look out of its windows. A white-and-gold wooden palanquin or ratha frame sits at the lower left, with devotees walking around it. Several men wear white forehead markings. Buildings, street lamps and parked white vans line the road in the background. The page indicates a Kodikkan Ratha Yatra in Chennai, but no clear a person candidate is visible among the people.

A red flag and a white banner are visible. The canopy carries Tamil text and a temple-style signboard.
