A dark night photograph of a building facade with a glowing neon-style trident (trishul) sign at the top, lit in red and white with a flame-like orange centre. A row of white fluorescent or tube lights runs down the wall beneath it, and a bright orange floodlight glares in the upper right corner. No people are visible; the scene is architectural and illuminated, with a faint carved or pillared wall barely visible below.

A night photograph of a tall, richly carved South Indian temple gopuram (tower) lit by warm orange floodlight and rows of small white lights along its tiers. A street lamp glows in front of it, and a few small market stalls and shop fronts sit at street level at the base, with the tower's gateway opening below. No people are clearly visible; the figure at far left edge is a partial statue or railing shape. The scene is a temple tower at night, not a ritual or a person depiction.

A night photograph of a temple facade lit mostly by a single bright lamp on top of a gopuram-like structure. At the top centre, a white and red ornamental shrine-top or kalasha-like finial glows under a bright light, flanked by carved stone ornaments. Below, a dark stone building with iron grilles and a lit doorway, with a hanging sign and a small banner at lower left. No people are visible.

A dark photograph of a glowing light source with a large circular orange-red halo ring around it. A bright white light burst sits at the centre with a faint vertical streak, and a narrow lit window or opening appears at the left edge. No people are visible.

October 27 2008

A dark night photograph dominated by a glowing rectangular structure outlined in many small orange oil lamps, which form a grid or lettered pattern across a dark facade. Smaller lamp flames sit along a lower ledge below it, and a single bright flame glows at the upper left. A small blue-lit screen or device is visible at the far left edge. No people are visible; the scene shows an illuminated lamp display, consistent with a Karthikai Deepam style lamp lighting.
