On the left, a young man in a white dhoti with a golden-yellow border wears a long rudraksha mala and a small pendant, and he holds out his hand toward a bright pink cloth bundle. On the right, a woman in a cream sari with a light-blue cardigan and a name badge sits watching, with a red bindi on her forehead. In the foreground, a man in a maroon kurta with gold embroidered trim sits cross-legged with hands in a mudra facing the others. Beside him a curly-haired young man in white kurta and white dhoti wears an orange-saffron shawl and a rudraksha mala, gesturing with one hand toward a small square card with a green and white emblem on the floor. Behind them, an older man with white hair and a grey beard wears a white kurta and an orange shawl, and another man in white sits nearby. A man in a white shirt with an orange lanyard sits at the left edge, and a figure in white kneels at the back. No one in the image is confidently identifiable as a person by appearance alone, so no candidate is marked.2016-10-10A photograph of a ceremonial exchange in a temple-like hall. A bare-chested man on the left with rudraksha malas and beaded bracelets holds out a small folded paper or card, and his hand is reaching toward an outstretched hand on the right, which wears gold bangles and a bracelet. Behind him stands another bare-chested man with rudraksha malas. The background shows a red velvet cushion, an ornate gold-carved throne or pedestal, a red cloth, and a small bottle. The visible men have no clearly distinctive presentation cues beyond malas, so the central figure cannot be confirmed as the a person from appearance.2016-09-28February 13 20182018-02-13
